Incredible connection recently launched their very first blog with these words: “Welcome to the Incredible Connection blog! It’s taken quite a while for us to get this blog up and running, but its finally here.”

Dudes it’s been years, not sure what kept you from this space, maybe its all the talk of “Incredible Corruption!” lol well don’t let that get you down. Then again it’s good to see you are taking the first step in the right direction. It’s time for change as Jason so nicely put it, and I am happy to welcome you to the blogosphere.

I must admit if it wasn’t for the “Win a Fujifilm Finepix J100 Digital Camera!” option, I might not have blogged but hey we all have our reasons and it’s time to play around with something shiny and new and that camera has my name written all over it, even if its just a junker, at least it’s shiny and hopefully new. hehe

Wow, I see those guys are ripping you to shreds on Mybroadband, to quote just one of those evil dudes “Probably some cheap-ass camera that someone brought back.” sorry I couldn’t help but laugh at this.  My advice IC is to make sure you got your bullet proof undies on and to stand your ground, the storm will soon abate and if you don’t give up you can turn your reputation around for the good of all nerdies out there.

Here’s to seeing Incredible Connection in the Blogosphere for many years to come.

WELCOME TO OUR WORLD GUYS

So what are you waiting for, send me that camera already

Everyone’s favorite second cousin lady thing Sheena Gates recently launched the most amazing type of interwebs awards which she called “The Nerdies 2009” aka #nerdies09. The idea was to nominate South Africa’s sexiest Nerdy NomNom for the year 2009.

Sheena who actually trades under the alias Shebeegee on twitter invited the entire  South African blogasphere and tweetersphere (all 200 of them) to nominate the person they felt deserves the title of Nerdy nomnom for 2009. In other words ““The nominees should be nominated for their personalities more than anything else, this is onlinedom okes, shallowness is null and void here.””

Well anyway to cut a short story long, ego’s started running wild, and soon the entire sphere was talking about only one thing, #nerdies09 - well ok, thats not really true, but hey, I gota say something to get to the point where I can say, that I MADE THE TOP 10.. Thats right, simonB the guy you know as the fring blogger remember me? What you mean no?

Word on the street is that Vernon Koekemoer is not happy about this and he is even more unhappy that he never even made the Top 10 list. Vernon paid me a visit while I was preping for the win along with @cowgrrrl, but his scary look didn’t stand in my way Sorry Vernon, the people have spoken and it looks like this time you gota take the back seat

Anyway The Top 10, Nerdies are now fighting it out for the pole position as Nerdy nom nom for 2009.
