To beat or not to beat?
Beat magazine a blog that popped onto the blogosphere sometime this weekened, seems to have stepped on the wrong toes. Beat which publishes articles that are meant to be taken lightly seems to have accused the right people of the wrong stuff.
Everyone was laughing at the totally ridiculous posts that started to get churned out by these pranksters on the weekend, even I laughed when they posted “Simonb in traditional medicine debacle” but when they accused Tyler Reed an upstanding fellow in the community of a very serious crime, he decided that enough was enough and literally gave beat a beating. Saul and Vincent of Beat apologized and the issue died a quiet death, or did it?
A few other bloggers have now jumped on the bandwagon and for good cause, Beat Magazine is hitting really low with some of their posts and sooner later someone will get hurt.
The question I know ask is “To beat or not to beat?” Let the reader decide.

To be quite honest, and as you’ve jumped on the bandwagon and I’ve followed it, your comments are not very profound. You’ve simply re-interpreted what has already been said a million times. Be it for traffic or to simply get behind the points we have even made ourselves, we overstepped the mark and apologized and then slept.
Now onto your other thoughts, “hitting low with some of their posts”, yes, arguably so, we even had the audacity to liken zoopy to youtube, a sever low blow which could never have been seen coming.
You must remember that we revealed who we were as a measure to remain accountable to the new style of the site. We made a mistake with Tyler, it was most certainly a poor move on our behalf and again we’ve made public apologies and sorted it out with him.
So now Simon you have my, vincent, the behind the heinous blogs about rafiq / mike and nic, opinion, I’m afraid its as much I can give. However I will make sure I give you some link love when I do my blog about this incident.

@Vincent thanx for the comment.
lol my comments are never profound. I just wrote about it to get people talking and to join the conversation and hell yes if it draws traffic then thats a great benefit, but I doubt it will draw that much traffic.
Anyway thanx again for your comment, goodluck with beat, I hope it survives the storm and if I may say so, a site like that needs a storm. The more people who blog about it the more popular it will get
If we all sit back and ignore it, it is sure to die a rapid death.
