tripwolf beta - 100 invites for the blogosphere
Saturday, May 10th, 2008Hey guys, as most of you already know, as a consultant, blogger and beta tester I get to play around with some way cool new beta applications. Although this job rocks at times, it can also get a tad frustrating always having to keep these cool things to myself.
Anyway to cut along story short, I recently started testing a new service called tripwolf, the service is still in a private beta and as with most beta applications there are quite a few bugs. After testing the app for a few minutes I decided to chat a bit to the CEO to see if it was possible to get a few more invites for the South African blogosphere? The good news is that he liked the idea and has just given me 100 invites for the local community, so if anyone wants to be one of the first 100 people in South Africa to test this new app, just click here and grab yourself a free invite.
For those of you wondering what tripwolf is techcrunch put it like this:
“Tripwolf is a social travel guide and trip planner that allows users to get a feel for how a destination will feel, look and sound, and adds a social recommendations layer on top.
The site offers advice and recommendations by locals and experienced travelers, and users get highly personalized travel recommendations from friends, peers and like-minded travelers. Users can create new locations, upload and edit content, then share their favorite places from around the world with friends.
The Austrian based startup has backing from European startup incubator i5invest and is currently in closed beta testing, with a planed June launch date. The final version will also include support for booking travel arrangements, and an iPhone version is also on is also planned.”
Guys I get alot of feedback I may be able to organize more of these limited edition beta invites for some of the other applications I work with. So please keep those comments coming ![]()
